Julia Levitt is a development manager at Skanska Commercial Development in Seattle. She holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Washington and recently completed her Master of Science in Management at the London School of Economics, where she researched patterns and motivations among crowd-funding venture investors. She has consulted on projects in sustainability and the built environment for organizations in the public, private and nonprofit sectors including Skanska Residential Development UK, Forterra (formerly the Cascade Land Conservancy), Seattle City Council, and a number of arts and community organizations.

Julia has published numerous articles on cities, sustainability, innovation and design. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic Cities, Metropolis Magazine Point of View, Urban Land, AIA Seattle Forum, Planetizen, and the bestselling book Worldchanging: A User's Guide to the 21st Century. She has made public speaking appearances at the University of Washington, Seattle Town Hall, and at the Bright Green Youth Conference in Sonderborg, Denmark.
